Hello friends! Thanks for visiting Life of Hattie. This is a new little project of mine and it’s still a work in progress – Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was this blog. Join me as I grow this website, starting with a series of entries on my recent trip to southern Italy. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you!

About Hattie

If you’re visiting this website, you probably know me. But just in case….I’m a thirty-something Canadian girl living in Ontario.

If you don’t know already, I’m  obsessed with all things Italian. I started studying Italian in high school, and have continued learning the language ever since (although I’m a bit rusty these days).

I also love celebrating the holidays, as will no doubt be evident on this blog.

Why the name Life of Hattie? Hattie is what a special little person in my family calls me. Since this blog is about celebrating some of my favourite things in life, it made sense to use a nickname from someone close to my heart.
